A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours

Hi folks!

I'm Tony and I own and operate "A Slice of Brooklyn Bus Tours", a company that conducts guided bus tours of Brooklyn. Our website is www.asliceofbrooklyn.com and we feature Brooklyn's neighborhoods, foods, famous movie locations, landmarks and points of interest. My company slogan is "Manhattan? FUHGETTABOUDIT!"

As a lifelong Brooklynite, I started the company back in 2005 after spending 20 years in healthcare. I wanted to create bus tours that would make it easy for tourists to visit the borough.

My tours have been featured on the Today Show, the Travel Channel, the Food Network, Martha Stewart Living, the Rachael Ray Show and in the pages of the New York Times, the London Times, Travel & Leisure, Time Out New York, Frommer's and Lonely Planet.

I started back in 2005 with the wildly popular "A Slice of Brooklyn Pizza Tour" which covers Brooklyn's best pizzerias, diverse neighborhoods, famous movie locations, landmarks and points of interest.

Then in December of 2007 I started another favorite, the "Christmas Lights & Cannoli Tour" which was an instant hit with tourists and locals alike. On this tour we feature the beautifully decorated homes in the Bay Ridge and Dyker Heights sections of Brooklyn as well as a stop at Mona Lisa Pastry Shop for cannoli and cappuccino. The tour was even featured on Samantha Brown's "Holidays in New York" Special last month.

Most recently, I started the "Brooklyn Neighborhood Tour" which visits the other unique neighborhoods, landmarks not covered in our other tours like Brooklyn Heights, Park Slope and Green-Wood Cemetery and famous movie locations like The Godfather, Moomstruck and As Good As It Gets. Included in this tour is a stop at the original Junior's for cheesecake and an egg cream.

I now have tour guides working for me and, besides doing tours for the general public, we do private and coporate tours. We work extensively with tour operators, receptive operators and offer travel trade rates. We're also a proud member of RSAA, NTA, ABA and NYC & Company.
